Obituary of Doris Vivian Blaney

Doris Vivian Blaney, 88, of Masontown, passed away Friday, October 16, 2015 at Pine Ridge Nursing Home in Kingwood. Doris was born in Masontown on December 6, 1926, a daughter of the late Charles A. and Effie (DeBerry) Sisler. She was a loving mother, sister, grandmother, and great grandmother. She worked for many years with her husband at the family store and insurance agency in Masontown and attended the First Baptist Church in Masontown. Doris is survived by one daughter, Charlene Everly of Masontown; two sons, Joseph Blaney Jr. and David Blaney and wife Robin all of Masontown; one sister, Lorraine Christopher of Newton Falls, OH; five grandchildren, Alisa Taylor, Vaughn Everly, Julie Livengood and husband Tracey, Jennifer Blaney and Shawn Blaney; four great grandchildren, Nick Taylor and wife Melissa, Nathan Taylor, Jacob Livengood, Lucas Livengood and two great great grandsons Brady and Jay Taylor She was preceded in death by her husband Joseph Blaney Sr.; one sister, Eleanor Pierce and three brothers, Woodford Sisler, Ronald Sisler and Bernard Sisler. Friends may call at the Field Funeral Home in Masontown on Monday, October 19, 2015 from 4 to 8 p.m. and Tuesday, October 20, 2015 from 11 until the 1 p.m. service time with Rev. William Winston officiating. Interment will be in Mt. Zion Cemetery in Masontown. Condolences may be extended online to the family at www.fieldfuneralhome.com.
